Hoop Dreams: Your Complete Guide to the Chris Paul HBCU Tip-Off Tournament
Almost four months ago, Chris Paul made another important commitment to historically black colleges and universities across the country. The NBA star, who is the product of two parents who attended HBCUs, teamed up with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to host the Chris Paul HBCU Tip-Off in Uncasville, Connecticut. Broadcast on nationwide television, the two-day tournament will feature Morehouse College, Virginia Union University, West Virginia State University and Winston-Salem State University.
âI appreciate the collaboration of the Basketball Hall of Fame and Mohegan Sun in organizing this inaugural event,â Paul said in a press release.
âAlong with many family and friends who have attended HBCUs, I know firsthand how important they are to the future of our community and our country. I am delighted to provide a high experience for players and fans. “
